The 30 Days of MUCHNESS Challenge!!

It’s one thing to say you want to see the Muchness everyday, and another thing to challenge yourself to do it. With people watching. Every. Single. Day.

But it works. Seeing the beauty and joy around you can sometimes be nothing more than habit. When we go through hard times, devastating losses or just hit a rough patch, we get into the habit of only seeing the bad. We carry with us the negativity and it tends to color everything we see with it’s murkyness and yuck. Taking the 30 Day Challenge literally forces us to put on our rose colored glasses and See The Muchness- see the color, see the bright spots in our days, despite the darkness that may surround it. And when we change our habit, we change our perspective. By the end of 30 days you will feel different. You will feel lighter, you will feel more in touch with what makes you, you. What makes you smile. What makes you feel whole. What puts you In Touch with The Much!®

Follow along with some amazing people as they take the 30 Days Of Muchness Challenge. Watching others seek out and explore their Muchness is inspiring on it’s own…. or you can participate in the Challenge!

Please take a moment to check out MY ORIGINAL 30 DAYS OF MUCHNESS CHALLENGE! This is what started it all. It was simply a self imposed commitment to wearing sequins or something sparkly every single day for 30 days. That’s it! And it truly changed my perspective, and it changed my life.

Step one: Create an intro post.
Tell us about yourself! Who are you? What makes you tick? Talk about WHAT IS MUCHNESS to you and what the Theme of your challenge will be. You can also talk about how / why you lost your Muchness. The Muchness can be any little thing that puts a smile on your face. To me, it’s obviously the colors, sparkle, sequins, shoes. To you, it can be that, or anything that makes you feel that “spark” — you know the one. And it can be something simple- making a nice breakfast, getting your nails done, watching your kids slurp soup, putting on your eye make-up. Whatever brightens your day and puts you in a happy place. This can be really short or a lot longer. Whatever you feel like sharing!  If you chose, this will be your “theme” which will , to some extent, run through your whole 30 days…. either very specifically or indirectly.

Some people have expressed concern that they don’t really know “what” their Muchness is, since it’s different for everyone… That doesn’t really matter. Just think of one or two things that can be the basis for your theme – they should be things you know you like (or did like, before you lost your Muchness.) Once you start the challenge, you will see that the daily  picture isn’t necessarily required to match your Muchness category, and your Muchness will morph and change as you attempt to fill 30 days with it. But having a theme will help you focus your Muchness, and push yourself creatively and emotionally, and give you something enjoyable to fill your brain with as you plan for the following days’ Muchness pic. And that’s just part of the beauty of The Muchness. Step two: Ready for Day 1!!
Simply create a captivating post title and use the words  -  Muchness Challenge – DAY 1 and get rolling! Take a picture and post your MUCHNESS. Write nothing. Or write a sentence. Or a paragraph. Or a novel. That’s up to you. Just do it every day for 30 days. That’s the only requirement. 

The hardest part is sticking with it. Remember, by committing to take the challenge YOU are committing to finding the parts of you -the happy parts- that are hiding inside of you. Even- no- Especially on the days when you feel the darkest- those are the days it is most important to stick with it. It means that YOU are taking control of the day, rather than letting It take control of YOU. 

REMEMBER: The farther outside your comfort zone you go, the more you’ll reap the rewards!
