You can see an old repair from an earlier crack next to the gilded repair i just made to this beautiful old broken piece of pottery. There really is something cathartic about drawing unexpected attention to your “flaws” and making them your stand-out feature, rather than just trying to hide it in a way that’ll always feel like you’re denying a piece of your history. … not to get too deep about some glue and gold leafing but it’s true. In the enduring and timeless words of @allesiacara_ your scars are your beautiful
