Wow…I get shellac all of the time and that has never happened. However, I have been to three salons and only one has product that lasts for two weeks without any chips. I’ll find out what they use the next time I go.
Thanks! Please let me know… This is total bs. I think, besides the wrong product, it was applied way too thick. On dnc’s website (they make real shellac) there are tutorial videos and it specifies to keep each layer of color thin and remove all excess.
Every one of my nails had peeled off within 40 hours. For a $45 manicure!!!!! So. Not. Muchy.
Not muchy at all. I had considered doing one of these because I usually screw up my nails within 24 hours, but I think I will pass now!
Perhaps it’s time to get out the big guns and get the damn acrylic nails? I personally hate them but some people love them. You wouldn’t have to get them long and they can actually color and Glitter! the acrylic so it won’t peel or chip.
Just sayin.
