READER SUBMISSION!!!! The squeeky wheel gets The Muchness!

I’ve been nagging my friend Esther to take the Challenge but she is adamantly against it. So I nag her. And I bug her. And I harass her. And I bug her some more. At first it was fun to be such a perpetual pain in her ass. But then, this morning, in an instant, it got old. So I told her I’d leave her alone.

No sooner had I removed myself from the list of the things that are annoying to her, then, BOOM! She sends me this pic. Now, don’t misunderstand. This is not a picture of my friend Esther. But it is a chic she saw in the post office…. recognizing The Muchness is 1/3 the battle. Photographing it is another 1/3. Sending it to me is about 1/2 of the last 1/3. That last 1/2 of 1/3 is doing it herself. SO, she’s almost there!!!!

Perhaps it’s time to start turning up the annoy-o-meter again.

MUCHNESS MERCH MERCHANDISING- SNEAK PREVIEW!!!! (ooooh- u lucky folks!!!)

So, when you buy a Muchness band, it comes with a little handmade book of pre-cut papers to write your deepest darkest secrets, fears, strengths, loves …. whatever, to put into your Muchness band’s Secret pocket. But It doesnt have a hangtag. Which is ironic since, um, I make packaging for fashion products for a living…. The shoemakers children syndrome, I suppose….
….not really…. cuz these are just way more personal than the stuff I do at work and I want to make sure they really represent The MUCHNESS and the message The MUCHNESS means…. plus, I want to give suggestions on how to wear it, directions on how to wash it, blah blah blah….
As of now, when you order, you’ll get a handwritten note from yours truly  (IT’S ME!) with all that fancy jazz on it.

But I’m, working on it.

Here’s a sneak peak of a tiny portion of what I’ve got so far. OOOOOhhhhhhh!!!!
Thoughts? Be honest!! I can handle it!

Will The Nailpolish Muchness Last?

I have very high hopes for this Manicure…. all the hype about Shellac and how it stays on for 14 days… Yeah… I’ll let you know.

Funny though, because all the rave reviews were accompanied by the warning that there was a limited color selection, but when I got there there were some extra hot colors with a different label. I figured they were new releases in response to the stuff I’d read, but I’m not too bright, especially when looking at bright colors and fancy shiny stuff so I didn’t read the label. 3/4 of the way through the fanciest mani-pedi of my life, (Look at the Pedi station next to me… Muchness pillow and everything!) I looked at the polish label and saw it was, in fact, a different brand’s product. They used the Shellac brand base and top coat but the product was Gelac brand. She promised me it’s the same thing and I’ll get the long lasting wear out of it, but I am VERY skeptical. You know I will keep you updated!!
