Wooohooooo! I am so excited to see it! Are you going to do it as a tint or are you going all in? Full head or just highlights? What pink did you decide on? OMG I can’t wait!

Its the hot hot pink. I think I’m gonna do all-over and just go for it. I am not going to bleach my hair first though. The upkeep on that is just more than I can handle. I almost bought the lightening kit to just do highlighted streaks in the front for a little extra boost before going all-over with the color. But it was expensive and I’ve been spending more than is appropriate on other muchy stuff. I like the idea of mixing it with regular shampoo (or was it conditioner?) to keep the color fresh.
I’m a little afraid of what people will say. I think some of them already roll their eyes at me when I wear platforms and sequins to the bagel shop… but, ya know… I’ve been doing that so long much it’s now my comfort zone. And I need a push.
      And the color is temporary.
And I can always buy more brown that is permanent to put on top.
My daughter is gonna Love this. She’s the pinkiest princessiest princess ever. She was born that way. I swear. She’s gonna have to convince my husband it’s cool. hahaha

Before you do your whole head, do a test strand so you can see what color it’ll turn because it is expensive and with your long hair, you’ll need 2 tubs. Just know that since your hair is so dark it will probably come out a pink/purple tint and wont be as drastic as you think. Bleaching is the only way you can get that. If you don’t like what you see after the test, you can get any kind of hair lightener, even just a cheap medium blonde color will work. You don’t have to BLEACH it to get it to work 🙂 Good luck. I can’t wait to see!

Oh and you can mix it with Shampoo or conditioner.

Ooooh. I only bought one tub. I know it won’t be drastic. I’m looking more for a “lowlights” effect (as opposed to highlights)
But I didn’t know a blond die would even affect my hair color at all. Hmmm. Something to ponder.
I came home and confirmed. My hubby has not been reading lately. Excellent. Surprise. He loves that.
      Hahaha!!

I haven’t done it yet. Mollys cousin had lice and I wanted to make sure the coast was clear in our house before I used the dye. It’s been about two weeks so I think were all good. The dye is sitting on the bathroom counter taunting me.
