Will The Nailpolish Muchness Last?

I have very high hopes for this Manicure…. all the hype about Shellac and how it stays on for 14 days… Yeah… I’ll let you know.

Funny though, because all the rave reviews were accompanied by the warning that there was a limited color selection, but when I got there there were some extra hot colors with a different label. I figured they were new releases in response to the stuff I’d read, but I’m not too bright, especially when looking at bright colors and fancy shiny stuff so I didn’t read the label. 3/4 of the way through the fanciest mani-pedi of my life, (Look at the Pedi station next to me… Muchness pillow and everything!) I looked at the polish label and saw it was, in fact, a different brand’s product. They used the Shellac brand base and top coat but the product was Gelac brand. She promised me it’s the same thing and I’ll get the long lasting wear out of it, but I am VERY skeptical. You know I will keep you updated!!

This color story in honor of Auntie Florence. Thanks for The Muchness!!!

Nailpolish Muchness!

Silly me, I cut my too long nails last night.

Today I am trying the Shellac Manicure!

http://www.cnd.com/Products/Color/shellac-hello.aspx

It is supposed to last forever and a day. Hmmmmmm…. my manicures, without fail, last till about 3 minutes before I leave the salon. And then they’re 90% gone within 24 hours. I’m a nail polish picker.

I’m taking an expensive lear of faith with this Shellac mani / pedi. I expect it to last me till the end of July. 30 DAYS!!!

I’m giving the shellac the 30 Day Challenge!!! I’ll let you know!

Summer Muchness

I havent posted in a few days. I think its cuz ive been feeling out of touch with The Much. I tried denying it at first but now that summer is in full swing, its a lot to deal with. This is the first summer since ’08 that I am not pregnant. I leave the house and smell the summer smells and I’m transported back to either the summer I carried my twins, anxious every single minute about the next minute, or, I am transported to my next pregnancy with Liat and how emotionally overwhelming that was.
I hope this summer to make new, fresh, muchy memories so next summer I have good, happy summer memories to look back on.
One day at a time… The world keeps on spinning….

SCREW THAT!!
I PLAN to MAKE this summer FULL of new, fresh, muchy memories so next summer I have good, happy summer memories to look back on!!!!

INTRODUCING …..MUCHKINS!!!! AND, a Reader Submission!!!

Since Finding The Muchness is closely related to tapping into the joy and happiness many of us had easier access to as kids, the Muchness is obviously going to resonate with kids, and, If Courtney and Shannon’s kids are evidence of it… so is every 6-14 year old girl in my hemosphere.

Today, we received our First Official Muchkin* Submission!!

SHARING THE MUCHNESS! (and a bit of self-promotion)

Seems my super unique “Much or too much” shoes are pretty popular! They’re called The Skate shoe from Jeffrey Campbell and it seems people are selling them all over the web. <—– That last one is Nordstroms, people.

So what did I do? I showed them folks at Jeffrey Campbell my unique-er spin on their unique-ish shoes.

HELLO MUCHNESS!!!!
